“The New York State Conservative Party is proud to have played a pivotal role in securing a new Republican Majority in the House of Representatives. Eleven newly elected members of Congress from New York ran with Conservative Party support, and the Conservative Party line provided the direct margin of victory in four of those races. 

“In all, more than 200,000 votes were cast on the Conservative Party line for the 11 victorious congressional candidates, and we look forward to building on those victories in the coming years."

“We congratulate Congressman Lee Zeldin on an incredibly hard-fought race for governor. Congressman Zeldin came within a hare's breadth of defeating an incumbent Democrat in a 2-1 Democratic State, and he won more than 30 percent of the New York City vote, despite a nearly 7-1 enrollment advantage for Democrats. 

“His hard work and passion helped secure a number of key victories in down ballot races, and his future as a political leader is undeniable. 

“The New York State Conservative Party garnered more than 300,000 votes and counting on its line in the governor’s race on Tuesday, and we are enormously grateful to New Yorkers of all parties who voted on our line. 

“This is the highest number of votes on the Conservative line since 1998, and it easily surpasses Working Families Party totals, ensuring that line ‘C’ remains firmly in Conservative Party hands.”

New York State Insider: Election Desk 2022 News: The Examiner News Endorses Pete Harckham.

 

I just received an endorsement for reelection to the State Senate from The Examiner News. Here it is:

“Sen. Peter Harckham, in a bid for a third term in the Senate, has been one of the most prolific lawmakers of the last two years. More than 50 bills that he sponsored have passed this year. Others talk about helping those suffering from substance abuse, but Harckham has passed more than 20 bills to help those with substance abuse issues.

“He helped secure $3 million to fund a Route 9A study and is planning to do the same for Route 35.

“…Harckham had the courage to recognize that housing affordability in the state and the Hudson valley will not solve itself… (and) has vowed to come up with solutions to address the housing dilemma."
