Senator Alessandra Biaggi to Join Advocates and Industry Leaders to Rally for the Fashion Sustainability and Social Accountability Act.
NEW YORK, NY – Tomorrow, State Senator Alessandra Biaggi will join Assemblymember Anna Kelles, Senate and Assembly co-sponsors, the New Standard Institute, and climate and labor activists for an in-person rally to advocate for the passage of the Fashion Sustainability and Social Accountability Act (S7428/A8352). This legislation would make New York a global leader in holding the fashion industry accountable for its impact on people and the planet.
