New York State Insider: Statement from New York State Assemblyman Tom Abinanti 92nd District: Universal Pre-K.

 

The earlier a child enters into a formal educational experience the better the child will do in school and beyond.

Assemblymember Tom Abinanti has joined with other Westchester Assemblymembers to push for State funding to make Pre-K education available to all children in the state. The state already pays for all Pre-K in New York City, but only enough to meet some Pre-K needs outside of New York City.

 The Assemblymembers highlighted the need for universal Pre-K in Albany.
