Wednesday, April 20, 2022 – (Greenburgh-Mt. Pleasant, NY) During this year’s difficult and challenging petitioning season, the candidates for the NYS Assembly 92nd district have each shown the level of their desire to serve the people of Greenburgh and Mt. Pleasant.
Assemblyman Tom Abinanti submitted over 2,100 signatures to get on the ballot - 300 more than his opponent. Abinanti personally obtained over 400 signatures while his opponent personally obtained less than 20.
For the past several weeks, Tom Abinanti has been working in legislative session in Albany, fighting on behalf of his communities and all New Yorkers. As Chair of the Committee On People of Disabilities, he led the fight for a better budget for those with physical and developmental disabilities. While Tom spent most of his weeks in Albany, he would return home to begin his campaign.
Tom Abinanti continues to show the enthusiasm, passion and energy required to get things done in Albany and provide service to people in Greenburgh and Mt. Pleasant.
