I’ve got a quiz for you.    It’s only five questions, and you're going to ace it — promise.

1. A generation ago, New York developed the most effective crime fighting tactics in U. S. history. Broken Windows policing reduced crime more than 90% in some areas. Law enforcement officials from all over the world flocked to New York to learn what we were doing right. Would you:  A: Keep Broken Windows policing?  B: Bring back failed policies that almost destroyed New York?

2. New York is the most expensive state in America. More than 1.2 million New Yorkers — and a countless number of job-providing businesses — have fled New York for more affordable states. Should we: A:  Cut taxes and spending to give New Yorkers relief and attract jobs?  B: Raise taxes, fees, and spending to make living here even more expensive?

3. Illegal immigrants are arriving at our southern border by the tens of thousands. Do we:  A: Demand our federal and state governments follow the law and secure our border? B: Give those here illegally free iPhones, secretly fly them from the southern border to New York in the dead of night, and then bus them into communities that have no idea they’re coming?

4. Women’s sports have made extraordinary strides in the 50 years since Title IX was enacted. Do we:   A: Protect girls' and women’s sports.  B: Make girls and women compete against biological males in contests and for athletic scholarships?

5. America is the most successful and aspirational nation on earth. Do we:  A: Educate kids about the American Dream and equip them to achieve it. B: Teach kids to hate America and divide them by race.

Congratulations! If you answered “A” on any of these questions, you're officially normal (as opposed to progressives like Governor Kathy Hochul who would check off “B” on each of these questions.)  I’m calling my race for governor “Revenge of the Normal People” and for good reason. The woke progressives that dominate every branch of government in Albany have completely lost touch with what it’s actually like to live in the state — so they keep making it harder.  Crime is up, costs have skyrocketed, taxes are going through the roof, and parents are given almost no say about their children’s education.     Please join with millions of other normal New Yorkers to take back New York State this November from the idiocy and woke madness that has permeated our current state leadership. I served for eight years as an unflappable conservative county executive, who kept his promises to taxpayers, in deep blue Westchester County, and I’ll do it again as governor.  Please join me today.
