Assemblymember Abinanti virtually partipated in a statewide press conference hosted in Buffalo to support his legislation to facilitate innovative housing approaches for people with developmental disabilities to make OPWDD truly person-centered.
Today OPWDD supports people with developmental disabilities only in group homes and individual supported united - leaving thousands of New Yorkers without appropriate residential opportunities.
