New York State Insider: Pete Harckham: Life Saving Narcan Training in North Salem.

 

More than 30 first responders and interested residents took part in my ninth Narcan training, this time co-sponsored by Westchester Legislator Erika Pierce and hosted by the North Salem Ambulance Corps. A person equipped with naloxone a.k.a. Narcan and the training to use it properly can save someone’s life and give them an opportunity to enter recovery. Thanks to NSVAC Emergency Coordinator Kurt Gulden and Mandee Nann from the state’s Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) for making the event possible.
