This week I was endorsed by The Examiner News!
This is a big deal because the paper publishes three separate editions that cover communities in the 40th Senate District—The Examiner, Northern Westchester Examiner and Putnam Examiner.
The editorial endorsement says: “Harckham, first as a county legislator and for the past six years in the state Senate, has shown time and again that he has a grasp of the issues. His work previously on substance abuse and more recently on the environment has been a hallmark of his tenure in Albany.”
I agree.
But I’m also hearing from voters that my support of women’s reproductive healthcare freedom and common-sense gun safety laws is vitally important as well.
Also applauded by voters: My efforts at keeping New York affordable for middle-class families with five years of tax cuts, record aid for our schools and financial grants for our municipalities, first responders and nonprofit service providers.
I’m humbled by the endorsements and support—but it’s time to let Republicans know we are moving New York forward.
Thank you.
Sincerely, New York State Senator Pete Harckham 40th District |
